Unspoken Confession
First confession:
Have you ever had a crush on someone but never had the courage to confess your love? I have. It all started in my freshman year of college. I had a class with a guy named James, and from the moment I saw him, I was smitten. He was tall, charming and had a smile that could light up the room. I started sitting closer to him in class, hoping to catch his attention. We would occasionally exchange small talks after class, but I could never bring myself to confess how I really felt.
As time went on, I soon realized that James had a girlfriend. My heart sank, and I knew I had to move on. But even though I tried to distance myself, he was always on my mind. Months passed, and I eventually graduated from college. I thought I would never see him again, but fate had other plans.
Second confession:
Years had gone by since I last saw James. I had moved to a different city and started a new job. One day, I received an email from him out of the blue. He said he had heard about my new job and wanted to congratulate me. We started emailing each other regularly, catching up on each other's lives.
It was during one of these email exchanges that James dropped a bombshell. He confessed that he had always had feelings for me back in college but never had the courage to confess. He said that he was now single and wondered if I would like to go on a date with him. I was over the moon, to say the least. I had always dreamed of being with James, and now that dream was finally coming true.
The conclusion:
Fast forward a few years, and James and I are now happily married. Looking back, I can't believe that we both had feelings for each other but never had the courage to confess. It just goes to show that sometimes, the best things in life are worth taking risks for.
So to anyone out there who has a crush on someone but is too scared to confess, I say go for it. You never know what could happen. Who knows? They may have feelings for you too.
