English CET-4 Grading Standard
Reading and Listening Comprehension
In the reading and listening comprehension sections of the CET-4 exam, candidates are expected to demonstrate their ability to comprehend intermediate-level English-language texts and spoken language. Reading comprehension questions may involve identifying the main idea of a text, understanding the meaning of specific words or phrases in context, and making logical inferences based on the information provided in the text. Listening comprehension questions may require candidates to identify the main idea of a spoken passage, detect specific details, understand the meaning of certain words or phrases, and follow the development of a conversation or lecture. Grading in this section is based on the candidate's overall understanding of the material presented, as well as their ability to answer questions accurately and efficiently.
